By accessing or using The Chosen ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Chosen provides personality and life pattern readings based on BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) metaphysics. Readings are generated using a combination of traditional chart calculations and AI-powered narrative generation. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with free preview readings and paid detailed readings.

3. Entertainment Disclaimer

All readings provided by The Chosen are for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. You should not make important life decisions based solely on the readings provided.

4. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service.

5. Payments and Refunds

Paid readings are one-time purchases processed through our payment partner, Lemon Squeezy.
All prices are listed in US dollars.
Due to the digital nature of the product, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied.

6. Data Retention

Your reading data is retained for 180 days from the date of creation. After this period, reading data may be automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

7. Intellectual Property

All content generated by the Service, including reading texts, design, and branding, is owned by The Chosen. You may save and share your own readings for personal use but may not reproduce or resell them commercially.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Chosen is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
